Dear Beverage
Writers:
There is
always something brewing at Eurobrew, a fast-growing specialty
beer importing company based in California. Haven't heard of
us yet? We import iconic brands like Monty Python's Holy
Grail Ale, Duchy Original and Hobgoblin. For a list of all
the brands we import, visit our website at
www.eurobrews.com.
In the meantime,
we thought you would be interested knowing what's keeping us
busy at Eurobrew right now...
- BURNING WITCHES: Monty
Python's Holy Grail Ale:
A group of witches (yes, witches) are in a tailspin over the
label on this popular import. Some don't appreciate that our
beer is "Tempered over burning witches." Sorry for the
misunderstanding ladies. We meant only wicked witches.
AWARD-WINNING TASTE: St. Peter's
Cream Stout: The Beverage
Tasting Institute just announced that this rich import
received a score of 94/100 for its superb taste. Read more
about it in the May issue of All About Beer
MIND ALTERING BEERS OF THE
MIDDLE AGES: Alan Eames, known as the Indiana Jones
of Beer, recently conducted two 'sold-out' seminars at the US
Botanical Gardens in Washington DC on this very topic. The
most fascinating is that there are still beers today like
Eurobrew's own Xingu, St.
Peter's English Ale and Black Sheep
Ale with similar qualities to those consumed in
the Middle Ages.
NEW BREW IN TOWN:
Blanche de Namur: This white beer is mild and
smooth and brewed at the Brasserie du Bocq in Belgium. It's
shipping now and will be on-shelf soon.
DID YOU KNOW...
Duchy Original: This ruby-colored brew uses a
rare breed of organic barley - Plumage Archer - that is
harvested from Prince Charles' home farm at Highgrove
If you are interested in sampling these or any of our other
brands, please contact Nina Young at

and she
will help you.
